Maybe I just hit on a great idea for this year? Kurt Warner as guest picker?
Is it that hard to comprehend that maybe just maybe, they'll pick someone connected to the school they're there to cover?
Darn it. I'm sure you'll come up with somebody. An accomplished NFL player? Allen Lazard is probably free.
Poll is really telling how important this gameday is for the majority of Hawk fans.
Nope. Remember. It has to be somebody that will pick the clones to win the game. Gable wouldn't fit that bill.
I don't necessarily think you have to go the NFL route, but they're not going to have an Iowa fan up there, and they're not going to choose someone that has nothing to do with Iowa State.
Seriously. I would think that Kim Reynolds would make the most sense.
I get that but she does have ties to ISU and it's an in state rivalry. Although she is a politician and would never give a straight answer when it was time to pick.
Oh absolutely. She'd tiptoe around the question most likely.. Idk I have a feeling they're going to go with Dan McCarney. Sure he was an Iowa coach, but he's Iowa State through and through. I know that no one on the outside would really know who he was, but everyone at the set would. I think that'd be exciting.
You mean ISU's most successful coach of all time that had a career record of 56-85?
