NFL: ***OFFICIAL WEEK ONE THREAD***

That's thirty million he's never gonna see in another contract. It's not fair that one fine can void all the guaranteed money in a contract but that's on the player and his agent for not understanding what was at stake.

Or you could just conduct yourself like an adult.

Yeah, that's true too. It's not as if the fine was issued out of nowhere.

I'm just saying that one fine wiping out all guarantees in a contract is an unfair amount of leverage for a team. But AB dug his own grave in this specific instance.

I'm actually kind of sad the Raiders released AB. I mean, I get they had to, but watching the nuclear meltdown happen in Oakland was actually quite entertaining.

Will be interesting to see what teams are in on him and what rediculous contract terms he will probably seek. If you are a team contending for a division this year do you really want to add a head case like him to your locker room?

I wouldn't touch him. But some team will. Given his recent behavior I wouldn't think it would be much more than one year with some guaranteed money and some bonuses and incentives for performance and attendance. He has one year to repair his reputation now and have another chance to cash in as a free agent next spring.

I hope Antonio never plays in the NFL again. The guy is a childish moron. I guess in this day and age it's normal. Our president... Well, I won't go there in this thread.

Anyways, I hope the media stops giving him undeserved attention and focuses more on people who are actually doing things the right way and are out on the field trying to win games.
