Yes but it was very obvious to all and I think it helps him longer term. He showed great talent and value with inept coaching.
Packers defense looks improved, however what you witnessed was a direct result of terrible QB play and an inept coaching staff.
3rd and inches, who do you give the ball to? Montgomery? Davis? Maybe a quick screen to Cohen? RPO with Trubisky? Nope, you line Cordarelle Patterson as a fullback and hand the ball off to thim.

That one year with Cutler throwing 50/50 deep balls to Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey was kind of fun. Ultimately doomed, but still fun.
That was so bad and perplexing. I know you don't want to overreact to the first game but that had to be demoralizing for Bears fans. Trubisky and the offensive scheme are brutal.

It was a letdown for everyone, really. Just not a good game. I'm sure the Pack are happy to get the division road win but it's not as if they played lights-out either. Nagy's scheme and Trubisky were fine last season, and they'll almost definitely be much better going forward.
As a Chiefs fan I like this deal. It's a short term extension and the GM Veach usually front loads the heck out of them. This probably means we get rid of Sammy Watkins next summer. And the short term deal means we can re-evaluate where Hill is in a couple years both on the field (still as fast as he is now?) and off the field (if he still is a POS we can dump him and not have insane long term cap issues).
Surely if the Raiders think they can bail on AB's guaranteed money because he is a head case, the Chiefs were smart enough to write in something to get them the ability to void the guarantees if he is caught doing horrible things again.
Unfortunately skills on the field are outweighing skills off the field here. Luckily the Chiefs protected themselves "fairly".
