UNI to sell alcohol during certain sporting events

I said it last time it was brought up on here and I will say it again - JP will be forced against his will to follow suit and allow it. In 5 years everyone will be selling it because it's what the fans want and it's a revenue source for the school.

Let the Alcohol Consumption RISE........

Yeah, that's going to help attendance big time.
Will selling beer really help attendance a lot though? I always saw it as a perk for fans that are already going to the game and additional revenue.
I just don’t see many people who would rather watch at home and drink free beer, all of a sudden change their minds and be like “yeah, I guess I’ll go and buy my beer now.” I’m sure it’ll be a tipping point for some casual fans, but for how long after the newness wears off?

$3 tall boys might actually move the needle. That's pretty cheap.

There's no way it's $3.

They've been selling 12 oz for $6 in the beer garden in the McLeod Center for the last two years.

I guess people did not get my sarcasm face..... It is $7 for a 16 oz tall boy domestic.

I quite enjoyed being able to buy beers at Toledo and Akron when I out for those games. 7 bucks for a tall boy at the Jack...I'd be all for that. Last night at the Dodgers game a tall boy "craft" was 14 and up. Blah!

Please introduce me to some of these people with "free beer" at their houses.

Name would be fine, but address is a must.

On a serious note though, I drank at least five $12.00 Coors Lights at the Royals game last Friday night. I didn't really want to pay that much, but they were the only ones selling it.

I just bought a 30 pack of PBR for $12. That’s basically free. You can come over for the next game, but you’ll pay more to park than you will for beer.
