All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

I'm thinking Michigan and Wisconsin will both have better front 7s and maybe PSU as well. Could be wrong though. ISU does have a good defense.
Do the Hawks play those teams this year? Seems like most years it's a lot of Rutgers, Indiana, and Illinois.

I think Twins said that we might have the best defense Iowa will play all year. Ohio State was brought up, however Iowa does not play them this year.

I replied to post 8754 which said...

"Enyi, Bailey, Lima, Rose and Spears. Find a better top 5 up front in the Big Ten"

That particular post said nothing about a team iowa will face.

Sorry, I meant teams you will actually play not the best team in the conference you get to avoid

I stand corrected. I believe Iowa State's front 7 was talked about being one of the best out there but that's just preseason.. We'll have to see how an entire year shapes out. The game in two weeks will also be a pretty good indicator.

So after this year they will have played Rutgers twice as much as Ohio State. That sounds about right
Ohio State has also played Oklahoma just as many times as Iowa in the last 10 seasons (including this season). It's not Iowa's fault, but the constant missing of the most consistent best team in the Big 10 is helpful.

Yeah I'm not going to lie I'm jealous that Iowa gets to play such an easy schedule most years

I think Iowa's schedule this year is tough. But I do wish we had the Big 12 North and South right now.

Tougher than usual. Nebraska isn't any good and that's one of their "toughest" games. They get Penn State at home and then have gimme wins in Miami of Ohio, Rutgers, Middle Tennessee, Minnesota, Illinois and Purdue

We'll have to see how Minnesota and Purdue progress because Purdue has won the last two vs. Iowa and Minnesota has given them games in the past.
