Is this Oliver Martin really that good? Just pulled up some highlights from high school and didnt look better than Matt Vanderberg who I thought was really good. Petteway looks far and away the better receiver for this year at least as a comparison. Seems like a lot of hype simply because he is a transfer.

We will find out. Really no idea. Petteway looks like a good receiver in the making.

Michigan has at least three WRs better than any WR on Iowa State’s roster. Donavan Peoples-Jones, Tarik Black, and Nico Collins were all big time recruits and are really good players. They were all three in the same recruiting class as Martin.

You understand Google ******* exists, right? It takes a matter of seconds for me to search those names, look at their numbers and know you're talking out of your ass.

You've got a couple 600 yard type guys and Black who has 16 grabs and under 200 yards in two full seasons. Who gives a ****.

we dont have time for in the making. one year of edibility if im not mistaken. yes he should be able to pick up some of the td that butler had but still not as good as butler. really wish butler could have came back especially in light on the season ending injury.

Wrong. Martin was the starter at the slot position. All three of those guys are outside receivers.

I don't think so. When he was playing for a good Michigan team as a RS freshman he was playing WR.

He didn’t start last year, but Harbaugh said he was at the top of the depth chart in the slot in spring.

This is a really dumb post. It might be a shock to you to learn that WRs outside of the Big XII don’t regularly put up 1,400 yard seasons. All of those players were top 100-ish recruits, and all were true sophomores last year. Black also missed most of both seasons with an injury. Apparently none of Iowa State’s WRs are any good because they don’t have impressive stats.
