Brock Purdy was 15-22 for 153 yards with 1 TD and 0 interceptions in 35 degree, sleeting weather wearing lineman gloves on the 1st of December.I mean, so does Purdy and I hear he's pretty darn good. For reference:
Purdy vs Drake: QBR: 29.3
Stanley vs PSU: QBR: 35.4
One of those games was an away game in rain against a ranked team with scholarships. The other was a home game in the rain against a non-ranked team without scholarships.
I think everyone has bad games.
Nate Stanley was 18-49 for 205 yard with 0 TD's and 2 interceptions on October 27. Or how about when there was perfect weather the year before for the game against Wisconsin where Stanley went 8-24 with 41 yards, 0 TD and 1 interception.
