Wow, that’s surprising. I don’t think they were anywhere close to one of the 10 best teams in the country that year.
To answer your question, I don’t know how many Top 10 finishes Iowa has in Sagarin/S&P+. I also don’t know how many Top 10 finishes Iowa has in the AP poll either, although I could probably make an accurate guess. Not sure what that has to do with anything anyways- the general population doesn’t really use advanced metrics or ratings. That doesn’t mean that the AP Poll is better or more accurate.

Actually I think you are parsing intentionally. Iowa was not one of the two best teams ISU played last year. According to the AP and Coaches they weren't even in the Top 4, On 12/2(last poll of the year) Iowa wasn't ranked in the CFP ranking after the Week 10 rankings. Iowa State was in the CFP rankings from start to finish. I know your endeavor is to justify thinking F. Stanley somehow in your mind being a better quarterback than Purdy. I admire just how very flexible you are, I don't think I have ever seen anybody turn themselves into a pretzel over something so freaking obvious. That said maybe somehow F. Stanley can overcome his limitations, or Brock has a soph. slump. However; there is NO LOGICAL way to say that Stanley was a better quarterback than Purdy last year. Hell things could change this year but there is no doubt about last year. None.
They still consider kirkwood to be students. You get student tickets, and each student can order two for that matter. And some hawk fans here think it is prestigious and makes you a geneous.
