Hawk fans gonna turn on Stanley

It’s crazy that Prohm has had as many of “his guys” drafted in the little time Hawks give him credit for as Fran has had drafted in a decade.

Not in fine shape tends to mean less than stellar. I don't know how it could be much finer for prohm unless he had like Shaq or something

In Fred's entire tenure, and in Prohm's first two years, he had good talent but still had limitations on the roster including depth, injuries and youth.

This 'NBA talent' is guys that may or may not be in the league depending on the season, with the best being a 2nd string point guard.

Not exactly Duke's multiple 1st rounders.

Not in phenomenal shape means it wasn't good. Idk how you look at a top 10 team and say not phenomenal. So you
Theres a difference between cupboard, like guys waiting in the wings, recruits coming in, etc.
Fred had a lot of success on transfers. So when I say cupboard I mean guys that will be starting in 2-3 years.

You keep posting things that people aren't posting.

So a legendary coach like Kirk gets an article titled "Fan discontent reaches critical mass in e-mails to Gary Barta" and we hear nothing about Fran?
Dude. There is plenty of discontent with Fran...

Didn’t know it required an article to state the obvious.

Good to know the AD can't see the obvious and gives out extensions.

Also, not going out on a limb here but maybe Iowa fans are just apathetic now with basketball? I mean last year was one of Fran's best and tickets were free for a Final Four caliber Michigan State.

Some context is needed on our "loaded" roster Prohm inherited.

It was a top 15ish roster that was ranked really high to start the season, and ended ranked something like #15.

The guys returning the next year needed to get Solomon Young up to speed and were pretty good after that.

-Naz got hurt
-Prohm had difficulty getting Jameel to buy in
-very little depth

Fran has had one of "his guys" drafted and hasn't had one of "his guys" he recruited ever play a minute in the NBA. In a decade. It's remarkable honestly

Hoiberg left Prohm a loaded team and it just so happens that was SP’s sweet 16 team.

I’ll just leave it at that
Fran has had 9 years to build a “loaded” team but he hasn’t done ****. Too busy recruiting his sons that would probably struggle playing at a G5.
