IMO the whole reason Harbaugh said Martin was on top of the depth chart was so he wouldn't get the waiver

Yeah but Oliver losses a year of eligibility regardless. For the player it is a much bigger deal for Martin.
I haven't heard either way. I think Harbaugh will try to block it to be a **** though
Why do you always mention these two together? They're two different cases that have nothing to do with each other.
We don’t know what went on with Bolton so nobody can make a case without knowing details.. we do know the penn st HC was suspended for being abusive to a play so..
With Martin he’s seeking a waiver based upon his OC changing.. the OC incidentally implementing an offense that is more pass heavy with more WRs in the field. It’s not like they are going to a triple option.
Players generally don’t get waivers just bc their asst coach leaves.. happens every year to almost every team.

I'm saying I think both fan bases should be optimistic given the history and how freely the NCAA is handing out waivers
From the outside looking in you would think Bolton would have a much better case based off Chambers alone
Now I've seen everything. The rivalry has grown so stupid we're arguing over who has the better chance at an NCAA waiver. 
Didnt Kempt get a 6th year because his OC changed at a previous stop?

Yep. Iowa State's compliance department got Kempt another year which is why I'm confident in Bolton. Iowa hasn't gotten anyone a waiver that I know of but they also haven't gotten a waiver denied that should have been approved so if your compliance department is at least decent I'd be confident as an Iowa fan
The case for Kempt was that he was ran off from Oregon State.
The only way that would be true is if Martin was a QB. Most think Bolton would probably be this year's top scorer
