That is his plan. Its really been a remarkable recovery. He has been cleared for everything except contact. The doctors wanted to wait until the 1 year anniversary (I believe Labor Day weekend) of his injury before evaluating him for contact.
That is a good story. You would hate to see a kids dream end in such a fluke way.
What? I definitely have not posted that many times about Iowa. Actually, the only time I really chime in on these threads is when the banter has gotten to the point of both sides throwing crap at each other. My day doesn't get made or rained on with what Iowa fans have to say or think about Iowa State, and I learned a long time ago it's not worth fighting with a wall.
Now, 677 posts solely about a rival and their fans in just under 2 months... Yikes.
All I do is post the truth. I can see why that is so offensive for isu fans though.
I'm not offended? sorry if it came off that way. Truth, and opinion are separate things, however. Like, for example, there is no possible way that your "another day of living rent free in your head" post could be factual and/or truthful.

Only going to be a senior in HS this year. He was one of the first commits to the Iowa class of 2020.

Brutal. The simple fact that the kid even has a chance to play football is astounding. I genuinely don't know any of the story. Is Kirk going to honor the commit? If he does that is pretty remarkable.
