All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

From the sounds of things, Martin is going to get his much deserved waiver and be eligible right away. Be interesting to see how he factors into Iowa's offense. I think Smith is pretty much locked into one spot with ISM in the slot. I feel that Martin could solidify the other WR spot. Hoping the rumors are true at this point.

If Purdy is as good as he was last year, and I'm going to bet he's progressed, he's better than Stanley. If he is not as good and takes a step back, Stanley is better.

Looked like Martin was going against the 1's in practice yesterday.

Why is it deserved?

QB's are, fair or not, judged on so much more than stats though. Purdy lost some major weapons from last year. Its entirely possible that he is a better QB as a sophomore than as a freshman but could put up worse stats and win fewer games.

There is an incorrect assumption among Iowa fans that Drew Tate regressed from his sophomore year to junior year. His junior year numbers were way better but he won 3 less games so people think he was worse.

Ah yes, I entirely forgot that Stanley did not lose his two 3 best passing targets either. My mistake.

Michigan changed OC. Hopefully the NCAA gets this one right and from the rumors I'm hearing, they have.
Is Michigan getting rid of using wide rcvrs? The head coach that he jumped in the pool with, he is still there, right? Saying this is "much deserved" is a stretch. Harbaugh said he is the number rcvr on the team. This is not much deserved it is 'much wanted" but changing of a coordinator doesn't warrant no sit out. Head coach yes. Should an athlete get a waiver for any staff position changes? There is a legitimate long list of things that are "much deserved" coordinator is not one of them.

Don't sleep on Amani Jones at DE either. Crazy that you can lose four starters from a year ago and still have a position group that should be really good.

All we heard from you guys last summer was how good Amani Jones was

He did but you didnt post anything about Stanley improving or regressing in your post, only Purdy.
So if Purdy and Stanley both regress, Purdy is still better. Just like if Purdy and Stanley have the same season as they did last year, Purdy is better.

So you think Martin should have to sit out? I feel that all players should get one transfer where they don't even need to apply for a waiver, they just get to transfer penalty free.
