If you don't want to park downtown or drive in rush hour after the game you could park at Mall of America and take the train downtown....
If you have the time before and after the game, this is the only way to go. Fun, easy, cheap.

So I'm hoping to catch an afternoon weekday game in Minneapolis next month. Anyone have suggestions on where to park or grab a bite to eat before/after the game? I'm assuming parking downtown in the afternoon on a weekday would be a poor choice. Any suggestions?

I too was amazed at the Mets' cheekiness......Syndergaard for Buxton and more? I'm sure Falvey covered up the mouthpiece and laughed out loud.
There are still a few good #4 or #5 starters out there, and Pineda or Perez could be moved to middle relief.
Sellers are asking a LOT and it will take a lot to get Syndergaard.

Sellers are asking a LOT and it will take a lot to get Syndergaard. In the era of the daily homerfest he has a career .7 homers per 9 innings while still striking out almost 10 per nine and is only 26. Even adjusted a little for not have to see a DH each game, that's league leading stuff. Might have questions regarding his durability though. Most of the other starters that are actually truly available are #4's and #5's that teams are trying to push off as aces or #2's and they just are not.
I agree that sellers are asking a lot and Syndergaard is probably worth a significant price. That said, asking for a current star starter on the team is crossing over to stupidity.
Glad Odorizzi got his game back last night. Also an encouraging performance by the bullpen, including newest Twin Romo. On a night when the Twins didn't score many runs, that was refreshing.
Levine and Falvey had to be quite uncomfortable with that one. Dyson completely crapped the bed.
