Iowa Football Recruiting

Jeff, if you didn’t make up your children like you did everything else, then you are just mentally ill like we know.

If you did make up having children, then at least there are a couple less children out there with deadbeat loser dads.

Unfortunately, “just winning regularly” hawk, you being a worthless insane piece of **** forced Kakert to shut down the rivalry board at hr. However herkyfan posts all over that ********.

There are those voices again. Cat is losing it.

Personally I don’t compare Iowa to isu or really put a lot of stock into recruiting rankings. Iowa goes after a group of kids they think will fit best within the culture of how Iowa wants to do things. That isn’t a fit for everyone. For me an indication of how they are doing with recruiting is how well they do with the kids they identify as a good fit early. The earlier the class fills the better. It means they are getting the kids they think fit best. Then there tends to be a few kids that are on the radar early but don’t get an offer until late in the cycle. Iowa has done well with those kids as well.
That's fair. Campbell has made some of the same comments when talking about recruits. He wants kids that fit his culture and the shape of the team. Iowa has done a really good job of molding okay - pretty good recruits into really good players for their football team. That takes kids buying into what the coaches are selling. Paul Rhoads had a pretty difficult time doing that from what I heard, especially at the end of his career and that type of stuff shows up on the field.

You know what else you can’t make up
Jeff? That your children want nothing to do with you.

To clarify how ****** in the head and worthless you are, no one here ever mentions the billboard. You bring it up regularly. Then you try to pretend it isn’t just another thing that drove you over the edge into your ******* insanity.

You gave up being in your children’s lives to post on cyclone sites to tell us you don’t care about Iowa State. You literally gave up your children for fan sites of a team you pretend to not care about.

Jesus Jeff, get your **** together

This person you think I am had his wife divorce him? Ok so just post the divorce record? It is public info. Then if course you can post his wife got re-married as that is public record as well.

Or maybe this is just another if your delusions like the rape cover up.

Link?

You two idiots are made for each other.

The classes are literally a push and that's with Iowa State having a commitment form a long snapper. Yikes!
If his rating was based off of how good he was at his position, he would be a 5-star and we would be rated a lot higher. He's literally the best long snapper in the nation.

Kind of like you and kujawa? I mean you fluffed him and got an apology. It was impressive.

Of course you could have just told him he was wrong, but that would be correcting a hawk fan, and you wouldn’t want to do that.

Honest question.. no trolling. Taking a look at the numbers, it obviously shows CMC has been behind KF in ranked recruiting classes but not by that much. Since CMC got here, his recruiting classes have gotten better, which they should if you're starting to win more games and put the team on the map. KF is getting better than what he was a few years ago but there isn't a huge gap between the two schools in regards to recruiting. I'm just wondering if that's discouraging to Iowa fans since CMC is a new coach and has had a little bit of success but Kirk is a long tenured coach with quite a bit of success.

If you look back through the past recruiting classes, ISU was never really that far away from Iowa in any given year. CMC has improved ISU's recruiting, but KF has also improved Iowa's recruiting in that time. So the gap is still basically the same.

It is a position that is undervalued. If you have a poor long snapper you are going to get punts blocked. I saw a stat once that said when a team has a punt blocked they lose the game 80%+ of the time.

Oh absolutely. Campbell brought up the importance of a long snapper and how happy he was that we got ours back for this upcoming year. And yes that stat is correct. Special teams scores like a punt return or kick return for a TD raise the chances of winning by like 80% as well.
