The FAWcast run has ended

Sad day to see a long running podcast come to an end.
That said, it's never been the same since Adam Gray left. The podcast needed a "straight man." Recently it was like Charter and Nic making hot takes and Williams making slightly less hot takes, except for the days they talked about religion or conspiracy theories, then the roles reversed. In the good old days Gray kept them down to earth. It makes for better comedy when you've got a guy like Gray calling them on their wild takes in real time.
Still a good podcast for the most part though. Looking forward to see what is next.

I enjoy all the podcasts but the FAWcast had pole position in my feed. Damn, mowing the lawn will never be the same.
I always got a laugh out of the FAWcast and thought eveyone on it would be a good hang.

This is a bummer. I didn't always agree with Charter but I really enjoyed the off-topic conversations from the FAWcast as a mix-up from the normal ISU-centric pods on CF. Really hope they have something to replace this on Thursdays as I always looked forward to the new episodes coming out (I will note that the Old Man Game pod with Georges has been great so far).
How sad. It was always one of my (silent) life goals to be a guest spot on the FAWCast. I think Mark would be a fun dude to have a beer or two with. Or milk.
Of all the weekly pods, I looked forward to the Faw the most. The release makes me think there is something more to the ending Would be cool if they did a final episode regardless
I won't shed tears for too long, for this opens up the opportunity for Charter and Co to do a dedicated deep-dive mini-series podcast into the lore of the "Gilbert Gang".
Only CF pod i didn’t listen to. Would try to dive in every few months and couldn’t stand it.
Hope this opens bandwidth for a different podcast to take its place on the CF Podcast Network.

Man, I wasn't the biggest fan of charter the man in terms of personality..but I certainly appreciated his support of CF and ISU.
Bring back Tron or more Mr B!! Those guys were awesome. Or create a pod with a random fanatic poster calling in every week talking about one random topic and one funny experience at ISU while they were there. That would be entertaining, keep engagement up.

Actually, I think there'd be more support for you going and joining Charter in his future endeavors on some other site or podcast not related to CF.
I loved the FAWcast! Helped me get through the workday. Thanks for the good years fellas and lady.
really going to miss the FAWCAST. i thought it really complimented the rest of the content CF put out. not everything needs to be super in depth sports related. a few of the recent episodes where definitely not kid friendly. wonder if that had anything do do with its sudden ending?
