I'm all for 'act like you've been there' but I'd have a hard time not showing the horns down sign to as many Texas fans as possible if I were Grier.

I get that it’s really stupid the big 12 /Texas is acting like this.. but why even risk it? It doesn’t make sense but my goodness, just follow the rules for something as silly as this
 
I guess I don't really see what the big deal is. They aren't penalizing you for using horns down, they're penalizing you for taunting the other team. It's like saying that you'll be flagged for flexing your muscles. Sure, if you're doing it to taunt the other team

It's completely stupid that it's being discussed by the conference.
 
I think it’s bs if it gets flagged. The league has set itself up for controversy with this “it only matters when it does” ruling. Tech’s “guns down” or TCU’s “horned frogs down” hasn’t been mentioned, has it?
 
It will probably be called on the ISU student manager hold CMC's headset cord, moving the horns into fg range and we end up losing at the gun. I can't believe this is a thing.
