Tyson was drafted with the #2 pick. Anybody remember who was #1 that year?
Was it Kwame Brown? Or maybe Wilt?

The steal of that draft was Tony Parker with the last pick of the first round, one spot after Jamaal Tinsley.Tyson was drafted with the #2 pick. Anybody remember who was #1 that year?

Proud father to 8 children Eddy Curry. I bet those grocery bills are a *****.
Dang. I knew it was a high school kid who didn't pan out. Forgot which one.
Nope I’m wrong. Curry was the 4th pick. The Kwame Brown folks are right
A post has never made me happier.

Remember when Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry were the future of the Bulls?Does anyone remember the show that was in Fox Sports Net back in the earlier days of Directv that followed Curry and a couple other guys in the Chicago area during their Sr years in HS? Loved that show.
Didn't the Bulls also trade Elton Brand (who was a good player at the time) to get that Eddy Curry pick?Remember when Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry were the future of the Bulls?
Curry wasn't awful but he had heart issues I thinkRemember when Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry were the future of the Bulls?
He battled hard for the Pistons in the playoffs. His knees were shot and you could see him gutting it out.Blake Griffin?

After the post game interview he walked around and shook every reporter's hand. Pretty classy move.
I'm ready for the season to start! it is going to be a fun year
Definitely not the hyperathletic dunker he was known as but he has developed a good handle and jump shot. He's probably stuck in Detroit though.Yeah, I don't dispute that he's battled for the Pistons. Injuries have taken their toll and he's nowhere near the hyperathletic guy he was early in his career. But I do think that for a guy who's been talked about as a fringe MVP candidate a couple times in his career he doesn't have much postseason success to show for it. Very good player and a joy to watch at the height of the Lob City years, but not great.
