They're playing the same quality opponents.. sure they're doing well but it's not like Minnesota is playing in a bowl game against Texas and winning. Minnesota played an average Georgia Tech team and won. Also, although the Big 10 West has not been good in the past, with Nebraska and Purdue getting better, and if Wisconsin and Northwestern can stay where they've been, the Big 10 West should not be bad in years to come.

I actually think Wisconsin will regress some. I'm not sure if I'm completely sold in Chryst yet.
That doesn't mean 6-6, just more like 9-3.

Iowa literally copied the Pittsburgh Steelers uniforms. They're completely ripped off from them. Black and gold/yellow is a phenomenal color scheme and yet Iowa is stuck with those uniforms forever because "tradition". Iowa also does the gator chomp when getting a third down stop. I don't care about either of those things because they're not something that needs to be cared about.

It's because lots of Iowa fans are still mad at when they went undefeated during the regular season in 2015-2016 and almost every single national media member wouldn't give them respect because they had not played anyone of great quality. So, whenever they can they will talk about SOS because it's now better and.... go figure they're not going undefeated in the regular season anymore.

I think you are putting too much weight in the Cowherd sound bites from that season.

Iowa broke into the AP Top 25 in Week 6 that season and stayed ranked the rest of the year. Below is their weekly ranking:

When they ended the regular season ranked #4, every single AP ballot had them between #2 and #7 in the nation.
