Pollard and MC obviously disagree.
Tons of teams have to play after a bye but not many have to play after getting up for a game and it getting cancelled. This year there should be no excuses made as far as scheduling goes. We know when we play Iowa this year and there should be no surprises. Especially with our first game being early. If something were to happen where the game would have to be postponed, we'd push it to the night and play it.I could be wrong but I don't think teams in college football play that great coming off a bye if you look at the numbers. I'd much rather have two games under our belt than one and a bye honestly but one is better than none like last year

Manipulating the schedule to get a 2 week Super Bowl prep....obviouslyHow do they disagree?
Hell, Paul Rhoads team's caught up to Nebraska. It's funny Iowa fans think we should win at Baylor, WVU, Texas Tech and Kansas State but Nebraska who has been God awful at home the last two years is such a tough game. Lol

I'm not necessarily talking about Iowa State vs. Iowa.. it's every team. Any team can beat anyone on any given day. If Iowa beats Iowa State this year, that means they were better than Iowa State that game. If Iowa ends up having a similar overall year or better, they were a better team no doubt. I'm saying just because you lose to someone, it doesn't necessarily make them the better team.
So you agree that Iowa was better than ISU in 2017 and 2018?

I don't think Minnesota will ever be close to a power house and will only be as good as multiple 6 win seasons with MAYBE an 8 win one thrown in there. However, I do believe Frost is going to figure things out at Nebraska and be a contender to win the B10 West year in and year out. I don't think they'll be like they were back in the day, but with the guys Frost is bringing in and the culture he's trying to build, I think they're going to be a solid program again. The only way all of that happens though is if he can figure his defensive situation out.
There is nowhere to go but up for the "Blackshirts."He brought in an ex-Hawk to be his DC. Mimicking is the best form of flattery.
You know Scott Frost is much different than Mike Riley, right? Check out the national punditry on Nebraska expectations for the year. It ain't just Iowa fans saying it.
2017 no not at all. 2018 you could put an asterisk next to it and say yes

Iowa beat isu in 2017 and played a tougher schedule. In 2018 Iowa beat isu and was ranked at the end of the season.
Pretty clear Iowa has been better than isu since CMC arrived.
