Is it "Tiller-time" for Iowa State?

If AA doesn't perform, I say take off the Red Shirt and let's see Tiller's stuff. Next season is time for Iowa State to move to the next level. If AA is not the man to do it, then it's tiller-time.

Good, I've been looking for a new crack dealer. Please let me know where you get yours.

Why. This season is a loss. Why mess up another RS. I doubt he is close to ready anyway. I say leave it on him unless the other 2 QBs cannot play. You can do harm to a QB by playing him too earily. The way this team plays, there would be harm done. If we were looking at a better outcome I would say maybe play him if AA goes down for a few games, but the way things look now, why play him?

If it becomes apparent AA is not the man, get Tiller ready for next year. I say play him if need be.

Arnaud has one bad game and we sound like a bunch of Hawk fans. Is he the one who drops the ball, is he the one jumping offsides, is he the one holding every time we run for a first, is he the one not getting open? No. It seems he did as much as he could, and when your getting nothing from the rest of the team, how do you create it out of thin air?

I think it's time to close this thread time...we aren't going to waste his redshirt on this season. conversation over with

Wow, better get my 2 cents in before this thread gets closed for making us all dumber. (no pun intended with the avatar). This sounds like typical hawkeye crap, calling for the backup! Yes there were some drops, and yes there were some bad passes, but come on.

I actually think if we lose a few more games and the season is officially a losing season, and then the unthinkable happens and AA goes down, I'd like to find anyone to throw the football BUT pulling the redshirt off Tiller. I'm sure if that happened Tiller would play, but at that point in a losing season, I'd rather see if Marquis or RJ can take the snaps and get us through the games instead of burning a redshirt in a losing effort. Most people will call me crazy, just my thought though. I'm still in "build for the future" mode I guess.

ISU has a long history of playing Freshman QBs in some cases messing up a RS, for no reason.

Todd Doxen-I'm not sure if he played as a true freshman but he played at a young age
Todd B- Started as a freshman, didnt have to bad of a career at ISU, would have been nice to have him around for that last season
Sage R- What he play 1 or 2 plays in a meaningless time throwing that RS away
Bates- Sure he played a little at WR, but did it matter besides beating Iowa, I'm sure he is happy he has that RS now.
Chris Love-played some as a young player and it never worked out for him
Meyer and Flynn-were RS freshmen when they started yet they had issues due to poor play around them.

Leave it on him.

Might be worth a CF wager....what odds are you willing to give on this one? Maybe it can be set up on the board.

Keep the RS on him for crying out load. If you want to come up with dumb stuff to do to a college then go be a coach somewhere and screw up that team.

The last time I heard something like "conversation over with" was prior to Thursday and the question was...."would PB quit since he isn't the #1 QB". Lots - o - conversation since then.

I hope the conversation is over with but the Coaching staff has the say, not us.:skeptical:
