Iowa Football Recruiting

You are assuming that the outcome of the Iowa game was due to an experience issue for isu.

I am saying it wasn’t experience but a talent issue. isu played numerous games after the Iowa game where if it was just an experience issue the isu OL had wouldn’t have had the issues they did with Texas, Drake and WSU.
Iowa State ended the regular season going 7-1.. They for sure had some problems against Texas and WSU, which were pretty darn good teams with good D-lines.

If Iowa played in a game where they weren't able to run their game plan because of an outside condition, I would say had that condition not happened, the outcome would've been different.

I know you're new here, but the fact that Iowa was playing in sustained winds of 25-30 mph and gusts of nearly 55 mph throughout their game against Maryland last year was no excuse for Big Sexy completing only 11 passes for under 100 yards. Apparently.

Right and the Iowa DL was as good if not better than what isu faced against Texas and WSU. What was consistent for all three is that isu lost.

That kinda is the point I have been making. It didn’t matter when isu played Iowa, the talent difference between the Iowa DL and isu OL rendered any missed game action meaningless.

A decent QB should be able to throw for 300 yards against Maryland even if they were playing in a tornado

I remember watching that game and 100% think that he would've had a better game had there been better conditions. I know you have to play the hand your dealt, but when it's something like weather conditions that can make a big effect, claiming that things would have been different isn't a hot take.

That is literally such a cop out argument. It was a bigger disadvantage to Wazzu than it was to Washington. It changed the game.
It is not Washington's fault that the Air Raid was at risk in bad weather. That is what a coach decides to gamble on.

Who is in the Big Ten will be better than ISU this year
Going by what? What are we using to measure this by? Afterall, ISU could beat Iowa in the head to head and Iowa end up the better team at the end of the year based on strength of schedule.

It's not THAT cut and dry. You literally couldn't throw the ball up farther than 20 yards because it could get caught up in the wind.. That can totally change a game plan.

I never blamed Washington for anything. I merely said that the game would've been different had they played in good weather.
