Would you expect anything else? The selfish part of me is giddy that I was right all along about David. An even bigger part of me is ecstatic because David deserves this.A lot of reports of him wowing a lot of people during practice.Sounds like hes tearing it up. Can't wait to see what he can do behind a capable OL, which, he never had during his college career.
Since you guys seemed to enjoy the last one...
KO is up to $41 and headed to $63 if he makes it the next two years.

Seems like kind of an odd sentence:
"Although Montgomery had only 71 receptions for 582 yards and no touchdowns in three college seasons, the Bears have liked what they have seen out of Montgomery as a receiver."
Why is there an "only" and an "although" in that sentence? That seems like quite a few receptions to me for a RB in "only" 3 years.
That's 24 receptions per season, or two per game at about eight yards a pop. ISU just never used him much as a receiver beyond screens and as an outlet.
Which I contend is a lot for a RB in college.
Since we are talking NFL $$$ and former Cyclones, I thought I would add...

A.J. Klein is up to $12.5 million and hits $17.5 million this year.
Surviving to that second contract is everything.
Only the first rounders get real money until year 5.Considering that the NFL has the highest revenue of any professional sports league, and the risk these guys are taking with their bodies (and minds), it seems like they really don't get paid enough.
Very common to participate in mini camps without a rookie contract. CBA doesn't allow to practice at training camp without a contract though.he's been practicing this whole time without a contract?
