On That Note: Eat to the Beat

Ok, I'm not going to post the song, because it is beyond suggestive, but I'm curious if anyone else has heard it.

It's a Fishbone song named "The Warmth of your Breath". It has a section where they chant "Donuts, cigarettes, coffee", so that's the food connection.

I'm guessing only the most ardent Ska/Fishbone fans will know it, but who knows.

I'll read through later, but I'm willing to bet that none of y'all have posted this song yet. MeanDean and a couple of others might remember it, but it would not be a song that everyone recognizes. And if you don't know the song, listen to the end to find out why it qualifies. *evil grin*

Now that is a real throwback. I had totally forgotten that song and probably haven't heard it in 45+ years. No need to listen to the end to know it probably breaks all the rules!

My mini-review: "Anchorman" is a reliable enough for laughs. Its '70s send-up premise provides plenty of chuckles, but occasionally suffers from overkill of said preimse. Fits closely with a niche/tone of mid-00s comedies ("Dodgeball" would be a loose comparison). I'd give it a benefit-of-doubt 3 out of 5 stars.
