As soon as he went to the bears, he was a guy that I thought would be a good 11-14 round guy. The bears always have two backs play quite a bit. Won last year and forgot about the draft and ended up with auto picks the first few rounds, which were Bell and McKinnon as the first two. Thanks computer picks. I was going to go with Kamara first.

If you are in a keeper league you won't get him in later rounds. Rookie running backs who can catch passes and are expected to contribute right away are hot commodities in keeper leagues.
This is my thought. If he impresses at all at the beginning of camp he is going to sky rocket up the draft boards. There is a good chance he ends up being drafted in the same spot as Jordan Howard has in the last couple of years.

Not going to lie it is going to be hard to not have my cardinal colored glasses on this year in FF when it comes to Monty and Butler. They are both in some very interesting situations.

This is what I love about auction leagues though. Anyone can do well in a snake draft but the auction leagues separate the men form the boys. In this format it really boils down to how early someone throws his name up on the auction block.

100% agree. After doing auction dynasty leagues it is hard to go back to snake drafts.

It's a 2 qb league through ESPN and the keeper is effective after the 8th round. Usually some very good keepers still if you're smart. 2 RB and flex RB/WR should allow for him to be available after the 8th in that format.

I would love to get him that late but the way backs go in my 10 man 2 keepers league, he might be gone by the 8th. Struggling with how early I'm willing to take him. Don't want my ISU homerism to cloud my judgement but I really think he could be worth it in the 6th.

Two years ago in my 10 team ppr keeper league Fournette, Mccaffrey, Cook, and Hunt were all gone by the end of the 3rd round. Mixon and Kamara were gone by the end of the 6th.

I was able to snag Hunt and Kamara those years which gave me a championship and another season going 11-3.

If your league is like mine Montgomery will be a trendy pickup early in the draft. If you hit on the right running back like that who will get lots of volume and can catch passes you can have 4 or 5 years of sustained success with the same players.
