Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Not saying that at all. What I am saying is that it was obvious that this game meant more to Prohm than any other game.

You watched all of Iowa State's games to know this? There were several games he wanted more than Iowa.

The Michigan job has some great positives:
  1. Pay is great.
  2. Huge alumni base for support.
  3. Fantastic television market with the available population, Big Ten Conference ties, and history.
  4. The school name well-known in dense recruiting hot beds
But it has two negatives:
1. It's football school unless you make it to the Final Four.
2. You have to beat Michigan State.

Unfortunately Izzo has their number.

All these spring developments just show that Fran is confident that he's got the administration by the gonads.

It's a pretty good job, for the right coach. Prohm is definitely good enough of a coach to be successful there. But he wouldn't be "good enough" for the fan base, and would always be playing second fiddle to MSU.

Wouldn't you want that scholarship to go to a transfer though?
If you're asking me if I'd rather have Harvey on scholarship than him, the answer would be yes. It just all depends on the situation. Happy for Riley!
