“Thoroughly outplayed”, really? He was 15/22 in a mud bowl.
Washington St was 42nd in both scoring and total defense. I don’t know that I would consider that “bad.”
Fair enough.

Part of me wishes we wouldn’t have told Hall “no thanks”. But we already had our guy on board and weren’t sure if we’d have room for him.

Saying Stanley is better than Purdy might be worse than when you said Jok was a better NBA prospect than 5 guys currently in the league
The Chase Allen statement wasn't as bad as your Nebraskteball knowledge. Not quite as bad as when you said Chase Allen was better than two first round draft picks though
Remember he said he wasn't Alt.Saying Stanley is better than Purdy might be worse than when you said Jok was a better NBA prospect than 5 guys currently in the league

Not bad.
I’ll predict ISU will sneak a second OL on there and Kolar will be the best TE on either team.
Also think a S spot and CB are debatable.
Lewis was also really good last year (and yes, he was) and is a leader. I don’t think it’s all that locked down. Eisworth is for sure.Safeties are pretty locked in IMO- Stone was really good last year and will be the leader of Iowa’s defense this season. The 2nd corner spot behind Hankins is definitely up for grabs though.

How can you possibly say Stanley is better than Purdy?
I need to see Purdy play well against a good defense and see how he performs without Butler. Just because he racked up good stats throwing jump balls to an NFL WR against some of the worst defenses in college football doesn’t really mean a whole lot to me.
