I don’t think ter Stegen gets enough credit for being a world class keeper. That may be a weird thing to say, but it still feels like most people don’t put him on the same level as some of the other big names in net.

That save he made on Salah’s worm burning strike was beautiful.

No doubt. He's in the top 3 or 4 keepers in the world IMO. Him, Alisson, Ederson, Oblak, and Neuer are probably the top 5. And I think he's better than Neuer is now. Lloris is good, but probably 2nd tier behind those 5. De Gea has had a horrendous season. Same for Courtois. Buffon and Navas are both still in the conversation.

I'm probably missing one or two that are in the conversation for top 10, but ter Stegen definitely doesn't get the credit he deserves.

This is how Messi won free kick- We go back to Anfield at 0-2 we had a chance gonna take a Istanbul miracle now

There’s a reason the announcers and players of Liverpool didn’t protest the call, because it was correct. If anything you should be upset with Salah for missing from point blank with no keeper in front of the net. That was a crucial miss on what would have been a crucial away goal.

Or Milner for shooting straight at the keeper with the goal begging, or Mane for blazing over when through 1 on 1 instead of hitting the target, or Klopp for not bring on Firmino sooner...

Kompany with a freaking 30 yard rocket into the top corner leaving Kasper no chance for the only goal in a 1-0 City win. Unbelievable.

Up to Brighton now.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho (A STRIKER!!!) misses the goal from point blank range against his former team.

lol, didn't even watch it because I figured Barca would just park the bus. That's crazy with the injuries.

Don't know much about Ajax but I assume Liverpool will be massive favorites either way.

What an outstanding performance. The anti-Liverpool folks were quick to dismiss the fact that Liverpool outplayed Barca for large stretches in the first leg despite the final scoreline, but I feel like that is part of what gave the team some hope coming into Anfield tonight.

They knew they could take the game to Barca and with an early goal and pressure that Barca had the potential to fall apart and fall apart they did.

I'll be the first to admit that I didn't think they'd pull it off, but there is ALWAYS a chance at Anfield. Just amazing and it never gets old watching the "never Liverpool" crowd fume about Klopp and LFC's successes.
