WE ARE RATED #2!!! (So keep calm and carry on)

Ha, they should see us when we lose to UNI. Because that is happening. Guaranteed.

You're welcome to your interpretation, but the higher the FHI, the happier the fan base, so the higher you are in the 4 categories to the right, the happier you are as a fan base, meaning a high panic rating would benefit your happiness score.

Hmmm ... so you are saying the rankings indicate that Bama, Georgia and Oklahoma fans are not the happiest? Don't think your interpretation is correct.

This is the definition from ESPN's website:

"We noticed that some programs' fans turn negative really quickly during close games, in a way that is not in line with their team's chances to win the game."

The lower number means more fans turn despite the win probability still being high for their team. Which makes sense for SEC team fans having a poor rating. Those fans are nuts. Alabama fans could be blowing a team out by 40 but freak out if one thing goes wrong.

I'm open to being wrong (tho I'd really hate that ) but it seems by your interpretation you would have to have a coach who was really on the "hot seat" to be happy? Right?

I think he's just pointing out people's interpretation of the Panic Factor is incorrect. A higher number means people's panic is inline with the win % probability.
