Iowa Football Recruiting

Stanley is one dimensional. The only thing he can run to is a buffet line. Look at his rush stats over the last couple of years.

So baby Ferentz should have a GA stand behind the end zone with a box of twinkies and Stanley might be this battering ram runner? Although he could jump off-sides would be an issue.

Iowa is hosting a Rutgers transfer TE right now on a visit. I would assume he'd be a preferred walk on but I'm guessing they don't have much depth at the position

Cousin of Chase Allen.. Would be smart of him to hop on board if he has NFL dreams.

The Iowa staff can clearly develop TE's, but their biggest strength is identifying talent. This kid will be a nice place filler while the young TE's cut their teeth. That's it.

He has 196 career receiving yards at a Rutgers team that's coming off a 1-11 season. He's not going to get a scholarship
He had a Quarterback with a sub-80 QB rating and still produced more receptions and receiving yards than either of Iowa State's self-proclaimed "stud" TE's.

ISU was good and had Hakeem Butler, David Montgomery, Tarique Milton, Deshaunte Jones, etc. Only so many balls to go around. Comparing our situation to a 1-11 Big Ten team is laughable even for you Buddy
