What's the deal with Kansas and no Top 100 recruits? Still some hooks in the water?
Considering what they had last year, with Lawson gone...
They could be bad next year.
Depends on if Doke comes back. Doke, Grimes and Dotson is a good core.

This is Joe's last assignment before his 6 month vacation. Pretty sweet job.
Texas Tech will be a top 4 seed again. Beard is going to reload that roster. Maybe we'll get lucky and UCLA will come calling with an offer he can't refuse.
He has another big job also. He is the Assistant Vice President of Marketing Communications at St Josephs University. So he does not just do ESPNI wish I had job where all you have to do is get page clicks and can otherwise be wrong.
Cook is gone, Fran is a horrible coach and they are certain to have a late season collapse as always. Yes the play in the worst (but most overrated) Power 5 league and that's the only reason why they made the dance this year and will be on the bubble again next year.I would love nothing else for him to be wrong, but Iowa ON PAPER, will be a top 15 preseason team. Mark it down.
I think we'll make the Dance, but 4 seed is pretty pie-in-the-sky IMO.

I'm not a fan of Lunardi at all, but honestly, to just think he woke up one morning with ESPN calling him to talk brackets out of the blue and just fell into this job is pretty naive. Weather or not he knows brackets, he certainly put the work in to make himself a name in the college basketball world. I have to give him credit for that.
Intentional comparison to a weather person? You could. Start a website, start publishing articles and information and show why you are an expert. Start publishing brackets and why you think your brackets are correct. Start a podcast and a youtube channel. I'm sure the way these 24 hour networks need to fill space, eventually you'll get a call. It certainly can't be that big of a challenge to be more photogenic than Lunardi, that's for sure.

Based on Lunardi's early bracket, our schedule could be relatively loaded.
Take of your blinders. Cook may be gone but EIU has lots of talent returning. I believe they also add like 4 players, a few that redshirted and a freshman or 2. Theyll probably be pretty decent next year unfortunately. Hopefully we arent bad as it will be horrible listening to the media talk about them all season
Iowa as a 3. Joe needs to stop drinking
