Of course either team could add an impact transfer in the offseason, which would completely change things. But this current Iowa State roster is probably one of the bottom 2 or 3 teams in the Big XII next season, while Iowa is probably similar next season to what they were this year.

I never said as much, and was not planning on saying it next year... mostly given the fact that literally noone knows what each conference is going to look like next year.
