Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

This is all way too predictable. Iowa gets a PG recruit who wins MVP of a conference in New York City over multiple 5* and high major recruits, and Iowa State fans claim he sucks. Iowa State starts recruiting a PG that nobody wanted until the spring period who is barely ranked inside the Top 400 HS players, and Iowa State fans think he is a diamond in the rough. It’s hilarious.
Isn't that kid like 5'9" should help your defense

The Rusty Wallace thing must have been a blast.

Talked with a few guys that did the ride along with a professional and said that was better than driving. The ride along took you out near the walls and the speeds were higher than the ride along. Still though a great experience and adrenaline rush. I'm 6'3 and climbing into those cars is no easy task. I felt bad for a couple bigger guys that just couldn't get into their cars. I'm around 235 and these guys had to be pushing 275+.

Nobody wanted this Grill kid either until the spring period. If Toussaint opened up his recruiting, he’d be getting flooded with high major offers too.

Well, outside of the P5 offers he did have, he signed his LOI in November to SDSU. Of course no one else contacted him until he was released from his LOI. Did you even try to think that one through?

Lol an offer from Wichita State, Dayton, etc. is a better scholarship offer than Washington State. Come on now.
Good call leaving the B1G offer out.
(The team you said a couple months ago was a better win for Iowa than the ISU win, who just **** canned their coach for an ISU guy)

The difference is we already have a stud manning the pg position in TH.
I can’t wait until this one sucks as bad as his offers like every other one you have gotten for the past 9 years.

Think about it, Fran recruited a player who's skill set he saw up close and under his roof for 18 years.

Who glosses over an offer from a team that shared their conference championship, went to the Elite 8 a year ago, housed the National runner-up from 2018 (Michigan), and is now in the Final Four?
Like, how do you even try and troll that?

If it's not an NIT runner up it's really not worth discussing.
