can't help but think Tech threw the Big 12 tourney game against West Virginia or was told to take it easy.

To be fair I think they are the 3rd best team out of the 8 that were left.
They were just in a national championship. I’d take their track record in a heart beat

We were a pretty good damn team when we were on. We just weren't on consistently.
That was also the start of a mini-slump for them, losing to us then @Baylor and @KSU, and a rather weak showing against Arkansas.
I didn't say I wouldn't take their record.
They had a nice run a couple years ago, but usually they don't make it out of the regionals
Yep. They did the smart thing giving up the somewhat meaningless tournament and go all in for the real one. Incredible run for them.

Yeah I get what you're saying. Just watching them now they are playing insanely good and that win looks really good.
3 big 12 teams in 4 years.
Final four could be made up of Big 12, ten, ACC & SEC. Big12 already there SEC to come out of another region and other two both big10 vs ACC.
Of all the programs I thought would see a final four before Iowa State in my lifetime, Texas Tech was not one of them
