All Iowa/ISU Wrestling Lineup

Not going to argue that because that goes without saying. But I feel Iowa will be as strong as they've been since PSU and Cael started on this run. Next year will be their best chance to dethrone them.
What are your thoughts on Lee? Will he take an ORS? That could be a big factor on next year for you. Kem's knee will also be big. Different ones come back differently from that. My son tore his last year and he definitely wasn't the same this year, mostly from the lost year so being a college dedicated wrestler should help in that regards.
I have no clue tbh. I will support whatever he decides. Yes, whatever he decides will be huge in Iowa's chances next year. They will need Lee to win another title to have a shot.
I think Lee is a great wrestler and fantastic role model for today's wrestlers. He doesn't come across as a total *** at any time. I honestly am confused how he can wrestle for Tom Brands with his demeanor. He is a class act. Hopefully his coach learns from him.
When is ISU going to dethrone UNI? When is ISU going to have another individual champion?
Great question. Probably not next year just like Iowa won't come close to Penn State next year and will be behind Ohio State for the _____ straight year
Not winning or even competing the national title does suck, but at least winning an individual helps take the sting away somewhat. Lee was the man again.
Oh I definitely agree with you but as long as Penn State has Cael you should be focusing on Ohio State/Okie State and not them
I think Iowa State will have a better team than UNI next year, and I would guess Iowa State is pushing for a top 10 spot. As far as national champ, could be David Carr next year (I have heard he is that good) or possibly Colbray (184 really clears out and if Sammy improves like he did this year, watch out), but more realistically I will say 2021 for next national champ. As far as Iowa's 2020 title chances, I think they have as good a chance as anyone to dethrone Penn State. The keys for Iowa will be having Spencer Lee back and healthy, Desanto to be a high AA in a very deep weight class yet again, improvement from 141, Marinelli to put together a good NCAA tournament (was concerning how he faltered after losing this year), Kemerer's health, and how does Cass replace Stoll. If everything goes right for them, it would not shock me to see them win the team title in Minneapolis. That being said, everything has to go right for them for it to happen..
He is on a hell of a run and Iowa will probably never over take him while he is there, but I feel Iowa can still win the occasional national title when they are down a bit and we are up.
Man, what could have been at ISU if Pollard would have supported wrestling better.
Wonder why he didn't like it there then? Either he wasn't getting the support from Pollard or he didn't like it at ISU. Probably a combination of both.
Same reason why brands spend most of his recruiting money where he does now. Better when you can get them instate and they may walk on and be cheaper than a 1/3 out of state.
Wouldn't surprise me. Will be huge for next season for us. With Kem back and a loaded roster, Lee would be the difference between a shot at the team title.
