The "kicked" ball was at a very important point in the game where we were about to tie or take the lead. He should have been all over the refs demanding they review that. He should have been all over the refs about Wesson moving screens, grabbing our players on screens, and elbowing our bigs when getting position.
Instead, I saw Lard talking to the refs about the elbows and NWB and Shayok letting the refs know about the moving screens while Prohm just quietly sat there.

Good coaches are on the sideline ref's ear all game. Not screaming and ********, but just pointing out things that other team's players are doing. Most often than not, refs will start looking for that on the next trip down the floor.

Prohm just leaves it up to the gods of basketball.
You cannot review that kicked ball play at that point in the game.

Every team, including ISU, sets a ton of illegal moving screens. Gripe about them and then they start getting called on your team as well.

And since Prohm isn't a demonstrative coach, network producers do not pan the camera to him as much as if it was Bruce Pearl or Calipari. So maybe he is quietly working the refs at every opportunity and you just don't see it from your couch.

Do NBA scouts still salivate over guys who get benched the entire 2nd half in the most important games of the year? The tourney is where alot of underclassmen have made alot of money over the years and our NBA guy was nowhere to be found.

Yes, you have to have the DUDES to run a 4 out offense. The truth is there aren't those 4 dudes at Iowa State right now
I'll yield - that may be true. At the same time I'm not sure we had the roster to go 3-out, 2-in consistently either. Hopefully we pull in some more versatile players in the next season or two.

I presume you are familiar with the less than desirable shot selection that THT has been known to display, correct?

Wow this was hard to read. Did you watch the game? Lard was in cause he was playing better that’s not an adjustment. There wasn’t many double teaming. NWB and TH dragged into the lane for split seconds. Prohm can’t make adjustments. Prove me wrong. Put down your keyboard cause you’re embarrassing yourself on so many levels.

I suspect it was hard for you to read because rational, well-reasoned dialog isn't your thing.

So replacing a player with another who can better deal with the situation at hand is not making an adjustment...Got it!!

The only one embarrassing himself at present is you.

The problem with some players is that they think they have to be the ones shooting the ball to get noticed by scouts. Obviously it's the easiest way, and you need to show this unless you are a PG. However, if you are not a great shooter, then it's going to do more harm than good if your shot selection is poor. THT is an average shooter who has times where he gets hot. He can try and show off and maybe he'll have a good shooting night, but he's definitely not a good enough shooter right now to be showing off in this way to scouts.

The guy needs to come back and learn some more teamwork - there's more ways to show off to scouts than take bad shots early in the shot clock.

Not really, Ive only been in huge vocal support of him being benched numerous times throughout the season for playing hero ball. I have to give CSP credit for finally doing it.

Fans who act like their favorite teams owe them something are the worst.

Fans that
It’s frightening when the first and majority reaction at a tough loss is rage and anger and that rage and anger is directed at anyone and everything. Coach, players, the fans that aren’t losing their minds.

And it's been that way all season. It's so weird. It's not normal anger and disappointment. It's legit rage.

I guess it's good those people are getting it out on on here because that kind of rage is probably directed at their pets or worse in real life.
