I can't believe I am going to have to cancel my hotel reservations to Chicago to see the World Series. Man, I am so sick of this crap !

It probably seemed like a good thing to do resting players once they had the division wraped up, but if they would have won those games, Milwaukee would not have been in, and the Cubs would have been facing the Mets. I said from the beginning the Dodger's scared the Hell out of me. It looks like Casey Blake will be playing the World Series.

I even got an email today saying i am one of the chosen ones to get nlcs tickets. guess its not even worth it now.
 
Zambrano is the only one that cares it seems.

Lou needs to inspire instead of just sit there. Cubs need a leader, which is something it seems they haven't had all year. They have some good players, but nobody is the clear cut leader of the team. So, when they reach adversity, nobody steps up to encourage or anything.

Are you kidding me? This team won 97 games! Derrek Lee and Soto are the leaders of this team. Leadership is not what they are lacking. Fielding and hitting are what they suck at right now.

I know he is not pitching tonight.. but Dempster would be added to the list of leaders

You still have a chance to catch the White Sox (not likely but a chance)...this coming from a Cubs fan.
 
hopefully the first thing is to take everything down but the ivy and build everything new. get rid of all the bad vibes in the stadium

Managers don't have that much impact on a game while it is being played. The best approach is to send your team out there and let them do their thing. Guys who try to micro manage every situation don't have much success or last long in baseball. Torre seems to be doing OK and he looks like he is way past his bedtime. I swear he looked like he had nodded off more than once when the camera zoomed in on him.
 
true true.. i am just not liking how there is no emotion. everyone looks very "deer in the headlights" esque.. thought maybe lou could do some yellin to get the team gellin lol
