I think this is true, but split with TCU and Baylor and ISU is probably in position for a 3-4 seed and this whole conversation about "good losses" doesn't really exist. So yes, when you are a good team you are a resume builder for bubble teams. When 80% of your conference is projected to be in and you play a round robin schedule there is a pretty good chance your losses are going to put some teams on the right side of the bubble.
It seems like trying to slight TCU or Baylor and their position in the tourney on the basis of "well, if ISU would've split these teams would be in trouble" is a pretty dumb argument, especially coming from a pro-Big10 perspective. I did not really think TCU is a very good team, but realizing they are ahead of 8 Big10 teams in Net Rankings makes me think they aren't so bad.
There are still games left on the schedule. They still get Tech and KState at home.
But I'm glad you can keep us informed.
