Doesn't he have a worse defensive rating than any rotational player on ISU? IIRC I said he would be the second best player on your roster this year and was spot on about that

For the record, I agree that THT has a higher upside, and Wieskamp has been a real find for the Hawks. But I honestly don't feel he has outplayed THT. He (THT) just defended Dean Wade of Kansas State, giving up 5" in height, and held Wade to 9 points in 30 minutes. Doubt Wieskamp could have done that.

Oh yeah, THT added 20 points on 7/11 from the field, including 6/9 from 3. I understand those numbers aren't typical, but in a huge game - on the road - he came up big on both ends of the floor.

You’re an Iowa State fan, of course you are going to think your player has been better. It’s the same with Iowa fans and Wieskamp. Both players have been very good for freshmen and it is silly to act like one has been clearly better than the other.

No doubt THT has been very good this year. I'll agree on that. Crazy to think he's so young too!

Defensive rating is a product of the team’s performance when a particular player is on the court. Wieskamp plays most of his minutes alongside Garza and Bohannon, so I would be shocked if his defensive rating isn’t poor.
