Iowa BB Player Tweets about ISU After Loss

Are you blind? THT averages 12.2 PPG and 2.7 APG - Wieskamp 11.7 and 1.1. How in the hell is that much better?

Wieskamp:

11.1 PPG, 1.0 APG, 50.5% FG, 43.6% 3FG, 74.7% FT, 124.6 ORtg, 6.4 OBPM

Conference games only:

11.1 PPG, 1.0 APG, 47.9% FG, 42.1% 3FG, 79.5% FT, 125.5 ORtg

THT:

12.2 PPG, 2.7 APG, 41.2% FG, 31.7% 3FG, 60.6% FT, 103.8 ORtg, 2.0 OBPM

Conference games only:

8.9 PPG, 2.1 APG, 37.8% FG, 35.2% 3FG, 41.2% FT, 96.0 ORtg

THT put up a lot better numbers in non con against weaker competition than he has in Big 12 play. Wieskamp has stayed pretty consistent from non con to B1G season.

Wieskamp is a much better offensive player. Not sure how you can argue otherwise.

I don't think it's as cut and dry breaking it down as non conference and conference stats. THT played a P5 road game against a possible tournament team during conference season.

You make a good point. THT padded his stats against Big 10 competition in the non-conference schedule. 23.5 pts - 10 rb - 4 assist average for 2 games.

Joe gets to pad his stats for 10 times as many games.

3 of THT's 4 best games in non conference play came against P5 competition. He's scored 20+ points 5 times and 4 of them were against P5 competition actually

Road games against possible tourney teams in conference play? JW has played a few as well.

Nice job leaving out a major stat like, I don't know, REBOUNDS??? Add to that the defensive side of the equation and you've lost the argument.
