They’re on here somewhere, I’m not sure which thread. The gist of it was that Iowa would be much improved on both ends due to the ability to play Wieskamp at the three instead of Pemsl, Baer, Nunge, and Wagner; that Iowa’s starting five is actually a pretty solid line-up; that Iowa would be elite offensively and would be able to improve on defense due to Wieskamp at the 3 and better effort from Cook and Moss. Then I predicted that Iowa would compete for a spot in the NCAA Tournament and would win around 21 games.
All of that - which seems to be fairly basic analysis for anyone who watched any Iowa games last year - was roasted by the posters here. Many of them have some sort of irrational hatred and resentment for Iowa athletics- it’s both funny and concerning to witness, which is ultimately what keeps me coming back.
