I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

Yep, I stated that the other day but some of the local Iowa trolls found that optimistic. I appreciate a rational conversation, you are usually one of the good ones. I found it odd that Iowa dropped 3 spots after last night, I couldn't quite figure that one out.
I know UNI has been bumping between a Quad 3 and Quad 4 win. Illinois was a Quad 2 for a while and went down to Quad 3. hopefully OSU gets back up to Quad 1 territory...currently at 36.

Yep, Iowa dropped three and didn't even play.
Yeah, I don't really get the 3 spot drop. PSU beating Mich is a wash because we beat both and Mich only dropped 1 spot. Just looked and UNI is a Quad 3...barely. No idea why we dropped 3.

No one should see Iowa as a team that can break off a big run/streak against good teams. They aren’t built for that. I can see Iowa making it to the round of 32 and that’s it. I believe that’s Frans ceiling.

I mostly agree if you are talking chalk in the tournament. But Iowa could get lucky enough and have other teams get upset and make their path easier for a deeper run. Not like that hasn't happened before as it happened to ISU in 2016 and countless other teams.

Just looked like everybody was in a funk...strange game. The way it started I thought you’d blow them out

Go back and watch the start of that game though... We really didn't get off to a good start either, TCU simply wasn't making anything and we were missing open shots too.

Iowa in the tourney will depend a lot on matchups. If their opponent plays mostly small, like ISU, they can pound the paint.

If the Hawks have to rely on Cook and he gets pushed out of his two foot comfort zone.... better hope the outside game is working.

On the other hand, if they play a team who has quick guards that can penetrate, they have 0 chance. They are lucky enough to play in the garbage Big 10 where they don't have to face elite guards. When they do, they lose because they have nobody that can even slow them down a little.

Yeah I don’t necessarily say that from a skill set. I know that he’s very strong and can make teams foul him a lot. If you’re a small team and your big is in foul trouble against him, it’s not good.

Well this has got to be the year to unseat them. If not, I'm not sure another Big 12 team wins the conference for the next 10 years.
I don’t believe going forward ku will be able to “coax” kids to ku. Conference will be getting harder for the top 7mteams.

Must not have watched the TCU game.
Exactly...we've been putting 4 shooters on the court the past couple weeks and none of them are making anything. You are probably hoping and praying that trend continues aren't you Dexterhawk? I have a feeling that not just one or even two guys start hitting their shots...but MOST of the ISU guys will be draining their shots for the remainder of the season!
