Bet most of the ballots were sent in before Iowa made their comeback last night.
No, Iowa actually got more votes than last week it's just other teams had better weeks and jumped them like Kansas State and Florida State

Well it is a bit shocking, but I feel that is about where they belong anyways.
Exactly. Other teams had opportunities for better wins and took advantage, thus jumping Iowa. Not really. You beat a team that has lost 9 out of 10 and a bad Northwestern team at home while Florida State and Kansas State had great weeks

Meh...at least we didn't drop to 23.
I've said it before. I would hate it if ISU played at 5pm on Sundays.Bet most of the ballots were sent in before Iowa made their comeback last night.
Is sitting at #16 better than sitting at #26 in the NET rankings?Meh...at least we didn't drop to 23.
One thing that is really going to hurt Iowa come tourney time is they are really easy to short prep for. They really don't have a mismatch and the blueprint on how to defend them is easy plus everyone will have a zone offense put together well in a month
You keep telling your self thatStill 16 in NET, 15 in Kenpom, and 14 in BPI. In other words Iowa State is in good shape.
What??? They are a pretty good offensive team. If they are so easy to defend, then why don't more teams do that?

Teams fall into the "let's foul Iowa" trap a lot, especially in a conference with a lot of poor coaching. The book is out on how to defend Iowa. Run Bohannon off the 3 point line, make Cook shoot open jumpers, don't let Wieskamp get the ball and don't foul.
Compared to a lot of other teams that will be in the dance Iowa would be one of the easiest to short prep for

Absolutely! If you paid any attention to how the committee seeded the top 16 seeds on Saturday you would look a little less dumb...
How much would you like to bet?Bet most of the ballots were sent in before Iowa made their comeback last night.
Teams already try to do this. They try to force Cook to shoot jumpers and they already run Bohannon off the three point line. Yet, Iowa still averages 82 points a game.
