Judging and unfair on my part but I'd be surprised if I'm wrong.
Probably waiting for Barta to hand out free tickets again. Place looked pretty empty tonight. Can't see how they would get enough fair weather fans there.
This is the most entertaining place on the world wide web when UofI sports does something awesome. Is there a link to donate? I feel bad getting so much entertainment value for free this season.
When did beating a 12-11 team by 1 become awesome?
I mean, take 'em any you can get 'em but even if ISU had come back yesterday and won vs. a better team than NW I'm not sure I'd call it 'awesome' as much as a relief.
Beating a meh team isn't awesome, but erasing an 11 point deficit with 2 mins left against anyone was awesome.
Most of the Hawkeye fans that come on here are exactly why I want Iowa to fail so bad at everything. If their fans were fairly normal and rational, I wouldn’t even really care too much about Iowa sports.
It certainly beats losing to them. It's a long season, you're not always going to play up to your potential. Vic Law was otherworldly in the first half. It happens.
Just as I will not be surprised when ISU goes on the road at beats KSU.
Actually I'd say the fans around here seem relatively normal compared to most I knew growing up.
