Little McCaffery's Status for Thursday

Do you think THT has played well this season- in particular in conference play?
Overall, no. Last few games, absolutely. I wouldn't go as far as saying he played 'bad' though either, as you wish to imply.

Considering the above, with him being an 18 yr old freshman, this shouldn't be breaking news. He's playing with the same tools and skills he's had all season, but has cut down on poor shot selection and other decision making. ie learning to play the game at this level...

Do you find it shocking Weiskamp has had some struggles and some good games?

Ole Miss isn’t very good, and he was still a very inefficient 6-15 from the field against KU. I hope for his sake he does turn it around though- would never wish failure upon a kid.
So now top 40 kenpom, barttorvik, NET ranked teams are "not very good" by your grading...

Most people on this site keep claiming that Iowa hasn’t beaten anyone good in conference play despite Nebraska and Ohio State both being ranked highly by the computers. I just figured that if those two teams aren’t any good, then Ole Miss certainly isn’t either.

Pro tip: Don't push your chips all in on the NET rankings, we have no ******* clue how the committee is even going to use them and there are clearly flaws.

If Connor wasn’t Frans son, would he be a power 5 player?

He should be at UNI..same for everyone minus Cook, Garza, Moss (3 point shooter), and Wieskamp

They’re much better than yours- that much is very clear.
Well, you've clearly documented the following:
  1. Disagree with dictionary definition of a fact.
  2. Disagree with dictionary definition of a lie.
  3. Don't understand how your preferred S+P metrics work (you think a higher rating number on defense is better)
  4. Today you incorrectly use the word "most" where "some" would be correct.

Thanks. From the stats you were citing earlier you were making it sound like Iowa made a mistake by not playing Williams more, but it doesn’t look like they are missing out on much after all.
It is more indicative of fran’s Inability to recruit top tier d1 players.

Who else was he recruited by?

I'd actually argue that UNI's players tend to be more skilled.
