I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

And I caught the tail end of the game on the radio when hit his field. The game was over and per Dolph the gophers were just trying to prevent 3s and gave him a layup.
I get there being value in a guy that is a threat from 3 even if he doesn't hit many, but a tourney team can trot a guy our there that is a bad defender and is a one trick pony on offense, and has been inconsistent at best with that one trick.

So I went over to Hawkeye Nation and there's an article about the Michigan State game and basically how this person doesn't feel so bad about it because Michigan State is so much better than Iowa.

I totally agreed and then I thought about it and that would be like us never expecting to beat (and then actually never beating them) Kansas because they are so much better than us. It sort of illustrated how much better our program is.

Quotes right from the Frannypants Hawkeye Playbook.

And it's totally in line with the playbook for their annual meltdown.

Honestly, I do think this Iowa team is fairly good. Even a broken clock is right 2 times a day and at some point Iowa will have a year where they don't regress. But it is days like today and quotes like that that make me wonder....

Iowa is looking at a very real possibility of 5-6, with not many statement wins left on the schedule, with their best win in early December over a short handed instate rival.

You don’t want to go into the committee’s fresh look at your resume anywhere around the .500 mark with that lack of quality wins.

... and no quality road wins.
