Iowa offering free tickets for the MSU game

They better hope ticket sales starts going up or they are going to start advertising this as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see Hall of Fame Coach Tom Izzo in action.

At first I wasn't sure why i was laughing...then I realized we all love to be that excited about life and not give a rip what others think. He has pictures with his fans. Videos are great. One video he shows his hot dance moves then interrupts himself and acts out being chased by a growing posse of gorillas and monkeys.

ps. the folks that comment on his youtube channel seem to be very kind.

I love Frankie. There is something he loves to do and he is doing it - and sharing it with the world.

The crazy thing is that's 2,000 just in general public. That doesn't include the 1,000+ student tickets that are listed for free

I agree. That is really insane. I think if Iowa were to build a new arena getting something like TCUs would be the best for them. I’ll post a pic for the Iowa fans that don’t know what that looks like.

Arena looks nice, but man those seats are cramped. Iowa should shoot for something around 10,000.

I dunno. Here's Mike playing at Carver and look at all the empties in the background. Now multiply that for a whole arena.

Or, with students, they have to wait outside for the CamBus, and then wait outside even longer after the game since everyone is trying to get on the bus.

but the shout outs for people to get free tickets to fill up CHA started long before the subzero forecast was known.
 
When the "unbias" media is tweeting about tickets left and promotions, you know times are desperate.
