This, my friends, is an attempt at a comeback where no rational comeback exists. Iowa's lack of basketball following is unmatched by any Iowa State sport. There is no sport Iowa State fans neglect the way Iowa fans neglect basketball.

Iowa State is the exception, not the rule for student attendance everywhere. That's actually really cool.

Students just don't come to games anymore, you see it everywhere. So different from when all of us were in school.
