Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

I walked into the house last night. Youngest had the Iowa game on and it was halftime. Big ten halftime guys were talking how Iowa ONLY gave up 45 in the first half, so they should be happy with where they are. How the heck do you give up 45 and be happy?
 
Has Fran ever beat a top 10 team on the road? I know Hoiberg never did and Prohm has already done it twice which is crazy

He's won two top 10 games on the road both by double figures. Iowa beat #3 OSU in 2014 and #4 MSU in 2016 both on the road.

You said he wasn’t a good shooter and that he would be a terrible defender- both statements which have been laughably wrong so far.

What’s the deal with THT? I haven’t watched much of Iowa State this year, but I know you crucified me for my evaluation of him pre-season (that appears to be pretty accurate at this point based on his stats). How come he appears to be struggling so much in conference games?

I said he was much better than Garza because of his defense and got called a troll for that. I said he'd be your second best player this year so I think you're thinking of someone else here

No, that was definitely you. A quick search shows you making the following statements:

“Wieskamp probably won’t be a better defender than Ellingson”

“In all honesty I think Wieskamp could be a good player off the bench but he’d get abused on defense as a freshman.”
