*** Official Kansas State VS #20 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Normally I’m a positive guy, but that was a pitiful offensive performance today. Played right into K States game plan. Wasn’t too pleased with the shot selection.

Can’t blame the refs for this, but that overrule on the out of bounds was a disgrace. How can you be allowed to overrule the ref that was RIGHT THERE?

Use this as a learning experience and move on to the next. Long season.

Still sucks to get Webered.

There were some tough calls but in the end, so far in conference play, this team has played 1 good half and 7 halves that were "meh" at best. Somethings not quite clicking. Jacobson seems to really be struggling to score against big 12 bigs and we haven't found a way to replace those points.

This team is much more talented than they are playing the last two games. Besides even the talented first two teams struggled and lost multiple home games.

I don't disagree with that, but more talented teams lose games for a wide variety of reasons. I can think of many today, including how the game was called. The team should have won, I wish Prohm would have used a time out at the end, yes....but the team did not execute.

It isn’t his ******* fault Lindell sucks ****.
Agreed. If the NBA want him they can have him. While he has some skill, between the turnovers, choking, and dumb crap he does...not worth it.

Yet? When do you expect us to be good enough to beat bubble teams in Hilton?

I hate to say it but with this coaching staff ...we might never to be able to beat KState type teams at home or on the road......Lindell cant make free throws but Barry Brown can and thats why we LOST...Oh yeah and playing NO defense didnt help either....

I don’t buy that BS they got lucky against one of the worst Kansas teams in memory. They play like they play.. it went to your head.

Wrong - I have never been on the hype train with this team. Yes, they played great against Kansas, but they have been uninspired the last two games. No killer mentality, too much hero ball, a PG who would rather pass open a wide open three to take a dribble and shoot off the bounce. A guard returning from injury trying way too hard to force things that aren't there, and not understanding why your best guys aren't on the floor at the end of the game.

Funny thing is Kansas went on the road and won on Wednesday to a solid TCU team, and we can't beat an average at best Baylor team, or K-State team at home.

Make no mistake, I ALWAYS hope the Cyclones win games they should win. This game included. It's one of my significant pet peeves in all of sports. But with this team it's not YET realistic to expect that.

Because he is a huge liability from the line down the stretch.

Coaches don't lose games. That's an excuse that people try to use to justify poor execution on the floor. If anyone would have made one play or hit one wide open 3 it's a different game.

Grow up.

I have just one question. Did we come back, take the lead and build it to what it was with 3.5 minutes left by running a high weave?
