I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

They showed the crowd close-up coming out of a TV timeout. They were clapping to something in unison..

No joy, no happy faces, no energy...it appeared they were actually in a mausoleum

If Iowa remains ranked I'll throw up ...obviously we were their #SuperBowl

They’ve got to just pump a **** ton of artificial noise into that stadium. There was one point where the place sounded raucous but when I looked at the crowd, nobody was clapping or cheering or anything. It reminded me of the old PS2 basketball games where the crowd gets loud but it’s just like paper cutouts when you look at it.

They are only three games out of first. By end of the season, I would bet that number is close to double digits out of first place. Interesting question: At end of the season what number is larger for Iowa: number of conference wins or number of games out of first? I have Iowa going 6-14 so that means the leader only has to go 13-7 to win that contest. I don't know if the BIG winner will be 16-4 or better so Iowa may keep it under double digits.
I dont see Michigan losing more than 5 games.

I could see Iowa winning 8 more BIG games to finish 9-11 and 20-14. It's possible Fran could pull out a signature win, or a ranked team, he seems to get at least one, even with bad teams - maybe vs OSU, or Minn.

He’ll lose to northwestern at least once, and I bet he loses to Maryland too.

Iowa has 31 regular season games. I can't see them going 8-8 for the rest.

You have them winning 4 road games? Are you unfamiliar with their road issues?

Northwestern is 1-3 in the conference, but here is their schedule so far.
@ Indiana lost 68-66
H Michigan lost 62-60
@ MSU lost 81-55
H Illinois won 68-66

Those are not bad loses, and Iowa plays horrible on the road, the next two for NW's is home against Iowa and on the road at Michigan. NW needs the win at home against Iowa and I expect they will get it.

I see Iowa getting 6 wins for the conference, that includes one upset of someone, they will not beat Nebraska in Lincoln, the way they are playing.

Psh, it’s not like Iowa has trailed by at least 17 points in 11 straight conference road games or something.

LOL, welp it is against Rut, NW, PSU and NEBY (gawd they look horrible t'nite).

Lost by double digits on the road to 3 of those 4 last season.

Rutgers 64-80
Nebraska 84-98
Penn State 58-82

Lost at Northwestern 2 seasons ago 54-89.

Good luck with your prediction.

Morning Rush talking about how good Iowa's defense was last night......I suppose letting up 80+ to a BIg 10 team counts as good defense now.

I always get a laugh at how wide the aisles are and how wide the seats are. They must must be in the lower capacity mode. Probably going start to install tarps pretty soon. That's what happens when everyone wears black and they turn the lights down looks like no one is there.
